Bijan Pajoohi, Managing Partner, co-founded Faraday Capital in 2018. From 2014 to May 2018, Mr. Pajoohi was at Fintan Partners in Redwood Shores, California. He joined as a Director and became a Portfolio Manager then later became a member of the Investment and Executive Committees. Bijan was the portfolio manager for the firm’s flagship absolute return, low volatility, low beta commingled fund-of-funds vehicle, which included as investors endowments, foundations, corporate pensions, public pension funds, insurance companies, institutional family offices, and wealth managers.

From 2012 through 2014 Mr. Pajoohi was an Associate at CM Capital Advisors in San Francisco, where he managed approximately $200 million in an absolute return portfolio comprising of more than twenty hedge funds. From 2008 through 2012, Bijan was an Investment Analyst at Convergent Wealth Advisors in Portland, Oregon. From 2007 through 2008, Mr. Pajoohi an Investment Analyst at Blackrock Solutions in New York, and from 2005 through 2007, Bijan was an Investment Analyst at Economists Incorporated in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Pajoohi received a B.A. in Economics and Japanese (magna cum laude) from the University of Rochester and a Management Certificate from its William E Simon School of Business in 2000. Bijan also received Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) designation in 2012.
